The twelve-day International Film Festival Rotterdam celebrates worldwide independent, innovative and experimental filmmaking and film-related arts. The festival receives hundreds of filmmakers each year and as many as 3.000 film industry representatives.
If you'd like to join us, here's how to apply for accreditation:
Professionals from the film industry may apply for accreditation. According to your professional credentials the IFFR will assign one of the two available passes: Industry or CineMart. Please note that sending in an application does not guarantee accreditation.
If you have attended IFFR or CineMart in recent years, you will receive an invitation by the end of November 2015 and do not have to apply again.
Accreditations may be issued to applicants working in:
Festival Programming and Film Markets
Funding and Financing bodies
Law Firms (representing a film company)
Further accreditations may be issued to individual professionals:
Directors of Photography
Accreditation is personal and non-transferable and gives access to:
CineMart accreditation gives access to all of the above, plus:
- all Festival and Industry activities, main events and parties;
- all Press & Industry screenings;
- the IFFR Video Library holding most of the festival selection;
- admission to public screenings by reserving a ticket in advance;
- the Industry Club for meetings, networking and conferences;
- the Film Office services;
- a listing in the IFFR Industry Manual (individual professionals without a company will not be listed)
- a copy of the IFFR festival catalogue;
- the possibility to request a one to one meeting with the selected projects
- networking lunches and cocktails
Applications can be made by email until 15 December 2015. We request companies to include a short and up to date company profile. Individuals should include their CV/filmography. If you specifically want to attend CineMart, please state the reason for your interest in the request.
Send your application to firstname.lastname@example.org
Accreditation passes are issued at the full discretion of the International Film Festival Rotterdam and submission of a request does not guarantee accreditation.
CineMart is an invite only-market. The list of delegates attending CineMart is carefully reviewed every year in order to ensure that they can contribute to the projects in the CineMart selection and to maintain an informal yet professional atmosphere for doing business. Therefore the number of new accreditation requests granted for CineMart is limited.
Industry accreditation fee:
€ 90 (for returning delegates)
€ 220 (for new delegates or further delegates from a company that already holds one pass)
CineMart accreditation fee:
Accreditation passes can be collected and paid for (by debit or credit card) upon arrival in Rotterdam at festival centre de Doelen
, 3rd floor at the Accreditation desk.
