The Hubert Bals Fund is designed to bring feature films by talented filmmakers from developing countries closer to completion. Here is a complete description of what the HBF does.

HBF+Europe provides substantial financial support to European producers serving as minority co-producers in feature films with theatrical potential. Deadline: 1 April 2015

Each year, the Dioraphte Award (€10.000) is conferred upon the Hubert Bals Fund-supported film with the highest votes from the festival audience.

All the past HBF selections and harvests in a row may be found here.

The HBF gives financial support twice a year. Application deadlines are 1 March and 1 August. Find out more about the official regulations and entry forms.

NFF+HBF (previously HBF Plus) is a collaboration between the Netherlands Film Fund and the Hubert Bals Fund.
